I contact you in the name of the Wargamingmonkeys (WGM), We are a recently formed society based in Leuven (Belgium) that is intensively and passionately active with (you guessed it) miniature wargaming. Our focus lies mainly with the historical variant.
On Sunday the 16th of February we organise a small FoW EW tournament. Everyone who feels interested is hereby invited to come to the beautifull Flemish Dijle region to have a friendly brawl between two Stella's over ownership of a nicely painted exchange trophy (we hope to make this a yearly event). At noon you'll even be served a bowl of broth (aka: spaghetti) to regain your strength with.
To be very practical for a moment, in case you want to participate we expect the following from you:
- you are in possesion of a painted 1500pts EW army from one of the books "blitkrieg", "hellfire and back" or "rising sun.
- u will send your army list (preferably in easyarmy format to davidwallenus@ hotmail.com before the 9th of February.
- u will transfer 10 euro to the following bank account: 734-0024423-85 (you can also pay at the day of the event but then you'll pay 12 euros). This covers the participation fee and the lunch.
- the event takes place in the buildings of Herent's primary school, close to Leuven (Van Bladelstraat 25, 3020 Herent)
We hope to turn this into an entertaining day where the FoW community of Belgium will have a chance to meet and discuss our wonderful hobby.
